Your GDPR Rights

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you specific rights over your personal data. NakedPnL is committed to making it easy for you to understand and exercise these rights. This page explains each right in plain language and tells you how to act on it.
Right of Access
GDPR Article 15
You have the right to request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, along with information about how and why we process it. We will provide your data in a commonly used electronic format within 30 days of your request.
Right to Rectification
GDPR Article 16
If any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request correction. You can update most account information directly in your profile settings, or contact us for data that cannot be self-edited.
Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten)
GDPR Article 17
You can request that we delete your personal data. We will comply unless we have a legal obligation to retain it (for example, payment records required under French commercial law). When deletion is complete, your profile and associated data will be permanently removed from the registry.
Right to Restrict Processing
GDPR Article 18
You can ask us to temporarily stop processing your personal data in certain circumstances, such as while we verify the accuracy of your data or assess an objection you have raised. During restriction, your data is stored but not actively processed.
Right to Data Portability
GDPR Article 20
You have the right to receive the personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (such as JSON or CSV). You may also request that we transmit this data directly to another service provider where technically feasible.
Right to Object
GDPR Article 21
You can object to our processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interest as the legal basis. Upon receiving your objection, we will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms.
Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making
GDPR Article 22
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. NakedPnL does not currently make automated decisions with legal effects about users. Rankings are based on verified performance data and methodology, not automated profiling.
Right to Withdraw Consent
GDPR Article 7(3)
Where we process your data based on your consent (such as optional marketing communications), you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
GDPR Article 77
If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For NakedPnL, the lead supervisory authority is the French data protection authority (CNIL):

How to Exercise Your Rights
Self-Service
Many data rights can be exercised directly through your account:
- Profile settings: Update or correct your account information.
- Privacy settings: Manage consent preferences and communication opt-ins.
- Account deletion: Request account deletion from your settings page.
By Email
For rights that cannot be exercised through self-service, or if you prefer, send your request to privacy@nakedpnl.com. Please include:
- Your full name and account email address.
- The specific right you wish to exercise (e.g., “Right to Access”).
- Any additional details to help us locate and process your request.
We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and fulfil it within 30 days. If an extension is needed due to the complexity of your request, we will notify you within the initial 30-day period.
Verification
To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. This typically involves confirming your request from the email address associated with your NakedPnL account.
