How Kalshi verification works
Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated event contract exchange. NakedPnL connects via Kalshi’s API using RSA-PSS keypair authentication — the trader generates an RSA keypair in their Kalshi dashboard and uploads only the public key plus a key ID to NakedPnL.
Because Kalshi contracts settle to fixed payouts (yes/no, tied to real-world outcomes), performance measurement is straightforward: realised PnL is unambiguous on settlement. NakedPnL still publishes a daily NAV chain for time-weighting purposes when a trader holds open positions.
